Well we did it. We made the journey to Columbus, OH and spent a day at Musicol Recording Studio, one of the few remaining studios where you can record using an entirely analog process. And that's what we did. We recorded to 2" analog tape using all sorts of vintage equipment and microphones. And we ended up being able to record two songs, not just the one song that got the most votes. We went with the two highest vote getters, which were Dreams Collide and Gonna Be Good. We will be putting up pictures and videos and all sorts of things as we get time. But in the meantime, here are rough mixes of the two songs that we recorded last Thursday, released to the public on this fine date of 4.14.14. Interestingly enough, it's 2014, Lucas is 14 and I'm 41. Lots of one's and four's. Not sure that it means anything, but kinda cool all the same.
